Hearty Beef and Potato Casserole
This hearty casserole combines tender beef, crispy potatoes, and a rich cheese mixture, making it a perfect comforting meal for the whole family.
Ingredients
For the Beef and Seasoning:
- Beef: 700g
- Salt: To taste
- Black Pepper: To taste
For the Potato and Cheese Mixture:
- Potatoes: 2, grated
- Mozzarella Cheese: 150g, grated
- Cottage Cheese: 4 tbsp
- Mayonnaise: 3 tbsp
- Mustard: 2 tbsp
Other Ingredients:
- Onion: 1, sliced
- Olive Oil: As needed
Instructions
- Season the Beef:
- Rub the beef with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare the Potato Mixture:
- Grate the potatoes. In a bowl, combine the grated potatoes, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, and mustard. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Cook Potatoes and Onions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the grated potatoes and sliced onion, and sauté until golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the seasoned beef to the pan with the potatoes and onions. Pour the cheese mixture over the top, ensuring it covers the beef and potatoes evenly.
- Simmer:
- Cover the pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Serve this comforting casserole hot, straight from the pan. Enjoy!
